"within your wounds hide me"

From Brother Roger of Taize:

Soul of Christ, sanctify me,
Body of Christ, save me,
Blood of Christ, refresh me,
Water from the side of Christ, wash me,
Passion of Christ, strengthen me,
O good Jesus, hear me,
Within your wounds, hide me,
Let me never be separated from you,
From the powers of darkness defend me,
In the hour of my death call me,
And bid me come with you,
That with your saints I may praise you
>For ever and ever.

Wow. This is quite powerful. All that we need comes from Him.

I have to elaborate, this is wonderful:

"Soul of Christ, sanctify me" *the soul is the expression of the spirit through the body--the expression of His life sanctifies us!*
"Body of Christ, save me" *He died that we might live!*
"Blood of Christ, refresh me" *in our technological age, I think of "refresh" on our computer; it starts things all over again that have ceased to work as they should*
"Water from the side of Christ, wash me" *His pain was our redemption*
"Passion of Christ, strengthen me" *"passion" in this world is weakness, but in Christ it is strength!*
